Designer and transdisciplinary artist, I am specialized in textiles. At the crossroads of several fields, I combine fieldwork with the creation of materials, colors, universes, forms, and stories. I transpose the principles of textile construction to the scale of objects, spaces and narratives in order to propose new perspectives of eco-responsible production, and consumption. Rooted in a technical, historical and social textile culture, the solutions tend to be resilient, the materials local, and innovative and the assemblages intelligent.

My transitory life inspires me to research the forms of living. The relationship we build with a territory and its communities (human and non-human) is at the core of my research. When starting a project, the observation is usually free from expectations. The space is left open, allowing me to raise local and contemporary issues. I work observing the built and natural space, the available resources, and the common heritages already present, to create projects where the processes and the encounters matter often more than the final shape. The outcomes of these explorations unfold from furniture, objects, and material ranges to participatory installations, performances, exhibitions, workshops, or meals. I work both individually and collectively.

I stand for trans-disciplinarity, I nourish co-creation and ethics of care in projects, always doing as much as possible with rather than against something or someone.

I work as an independent designer and artist since 2017, I graduated from ENSCI-Les Ateliers with a master’s in textile design with a distinction for innovation in 2018 and from ENSAAMA  with a bachelor’s in fashion and environment design in 2014.
Since 2020 I develop collaborative performing art projects with Collectif Trouble. And since 2021, I am an active member of the Floating University Berlin association, working as a designer, educator and curator.

inspirational approach

" The game rules of the handyman, Levi-Strauss writes, are that he always manages with ‘he has on hand’, meaning with a finite and heterogeneous set of tools and materials he finds around him. The activity of the handyman is developing through the opportunities and chances that he can take: in the line of a ragman, he picks up bits of strings, recycles residues, and abandons objects that linger here and there. He hijacks their purpose and original use to serve something else, that is to say, other senses. But above all, remember that the handyman is someone who lets himself be solicited by the possible meanings and uses that he finds in objects and materials. For the handyman, the space around him and what it contains are not neutral and exist in a homogeneous indifference. Covered with traces and signs, the environment has a face, reliefs, folds; a physiognomy carrying meaning and values. "
